Can I work with a student visa in spain?
I know people might so "NO YOU CANT BECAUSE ITS A STUDENT VISA" But I used to live in Japan for several years and on a student visa and I was able to work 20 hours per week but I had to get "special permission" from the government. On this paper I have about spain it says You cannot Work with a student visa, But Im not planning on Working full time, just part time like in Japan where it was possible but stated the same thing that you cannot work. but actually you could legally work part time, but isnt spain the same? everyone keeps on exagerating about how strict it is, and Im pretty sure JAPAN is the most strictest country in the world in terms of Immigrants and Iw as able to do it and many other things.

I don't believe so...because it's a student visa IN SPAIN. But that might, also, depend on what country you are from. You don't say.

don't ask people on here. its not professional help. i would suggest you call the number on the piece of paper where it says that you cannot work in spain.. theres got to be a number of someone you can talk to who would know these things.. i would love to know this because i want to go to spain and would love to stay longer and work there..

If you are in Spain under the terms of a student visa you can apply for permission to work here -called 'Autorización Excepcional de Trabajo' - but type of work, and how often you can do it is closely regulated. When applying for a student visa at a local spanish embassy(spain)?
I applied for a student visa at a local spanish embassy in Houston texas, How will i be informed about the visa when it is ready or if it is aproved? do they send it to you by postal mail or are they gonna call my cellphone? or am I gonna have to go back to the embassy? because the worker there didnt tell me much and wasnt helpful so Im confused how this is gonna happen

What would I want someone to bring me from Spain?
What would I want someone to bring me from Spain?
My family is hosting a foreign exchange student from Spain this summer. She asked me if I want her to bring me anything from Spain. What do you think would be a good item that wouldn't be too expensive for her but that would be a cool present for my family and I. Any ideas?? I am open to anything.

Purses for the Women and Wallets for the Men! My parents went to Spain 5 years ago and brought me and my wife a 'Modarte' wallet and purse. Both of them are brown leather and my wife uses the purse with whatever matches but I have pocketed the same wallet for 5 years and it has not snapped a stitch and the wear has been minimal. My wife's purse still looks brand new.
