Barcelona. Why? Because it's the most beautiful, cosmopolitan, warm and culturally tolerant city! It's also famous for food. A Chef is a kind of artist. And an artist can be best inspired by the environment.

I had my study abroad advisor go for me, bc it was paid for by my university but it took about a month for me to get my passport back and ready to go. I'm guessing as long as you have all of your paperwork in order(they're very very very picky about these things) that you shouldn't have any problems and like I said you should get your passport mailed back to you within a month to two months, MAX.

Question about being a foreign exchange student?

Question about being a foreign exchange student?
Well I really would love to be an exchange student in Spain. I would like to go for the fall of 2011 but it's really expensive. Are there any scholarships or financial aid out there to help?

omg. i am thinking of doing the EXACT same thing :) either france or spain in 2011 and im kinda going through the financial bad side too :( um. im going through Rotary, they kinda help out a bit. but if you want a scholarship program, i suggest talking to the club or organization that you are going through :) maybe even your school ( or are you in university???) im starting to save up now, my parents say that they will pay for it all but i want to ease the burden... umm. yeh. so i guess; start saving. raise money....ask family or friends for donations etc. just do everything :)

I want to go on Exchange to Spain as well! I presume you are from the States because you used the term 'fall'. I am from Australia and to be able to go on Exchange in 2011 you had to have your application in by March 2010. It may be different for you because you are from the States. I read a while ago that you could get a scholarship if your school results are all As and Bs and Rotary will pay for $5000. This may only be for Australia though.
