Can I work in spain with a student visa?
I am an Australian looking to move to Spain for a year to work and study, and so far I have had a lot of difficulty finding out whether I can work on a study visa, and if so, how many hours per week I can work for. Also, I would love to hear any advice from others who have done this and how many hours per week I must study to get a student visa. Thanks.

actually, you can work if you're on a student visa. you can work for the university. what you should do, is check out the english program they have and see if they need any tutors or someone to teach labs for introductory or intermediate english classes. trust me, you can work in the EU on a student visa, i'm doing it as we speak.

School records, birth certificate, passport and other pertinent documents. To be sure, call the Spanish Embassy in Manila.
2 :

I doubt it very much. These are matters that should have been worked out before you set off for Europe.

What does a student from Spain have to do to go to college in the US?
| What does a student from Spain have to do to go to college in the US? Currently I am 16 and from Spain. I want to study filmmaking in the US, but I don't know what i have to do to apply and if is possible some kind of financial aid for international students. Also, if you know about good colleges (about filmmaking) tell me!! =D Studying Abroad - 1 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 : Well filmmaking is a type of industry where you have loads of people have degrees in it and hardly any of them can get jobs. For studying it you want to be in California, where the industry thrives. You will have to get your passport before applying, and every school may have slightly different admissions qualifications, so you will have to find a school that you want to attend first. You may be able to get a scholarship, but the main bulk of your aid will have to be in loans. |

I am assuming that you are already enrolled at University in your own country ? - If that is the case then I have attached a link that will tell you about the application process - http://www.tumbit.com/how-to-guides/articles/102-applying-for-a-student-exchange-program-in-spain.html
2 :
Tumbit's site is VERY good =] - and has answered many questions I wanted to know also !! (If it works the same for Erasmus for France?) But the people who will be able to advise you the best is YOUR current University, maybe you can even speak to student's who have been to Spain before and ask about their experiences and what they'll do better
3 :
It's "EXCHANGE" Student. And you do this through your school. You must already be a student before you can be an exchange student, and you apply to the exchange program at your school.

I'm not sure about that NIE...That's insurance? Or an ID number? Official papers that come from your home country are acquired at your Consulate...Visas come from Spain, so...National offices in your town/city? Ayuntamiento? I assume you have reported this to the police? Did they tell you where to go? What about the school? Are you there on a program? Is there a Director whose job it is to make sure that you are okay? They would be your best resource...
2 :
do you mean you have been robbed or that you have got a job if you have got a job you will loose your student visa as students on a visa are not allowed to work and if you loose your visa you will be sent home to get an nie number you will have to go to your nearest central police station and apply for one you will need your passport so if you are not an eu citizen you will not get one and employers have had so much hassle from the law about hiring people without one they will not employ you if they do they are fined and you are sent home on the first available flight
3 :
Make the report to the Guardia Civil first of all. Apply for the NIE in ComisarÃa de Policia Nacional. They also have your students visa in the computer. But the "denuncia" at Guardia Civil is the most important!!!
